3. The government is aiming for a financial inclusion index of 88 percent in 2023
Acting Deputy for Coordination of Macroeconomics and Finance at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs Ferry Irawan said the government is targeting the financial inclusion index to reach 88 percent by 2023.
“In 2023, we expect the financial inclusion index to be 88 percent. Then, in 2024 we hope to reach 90 percent,” said Ferry, an official at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, during the Indonesian Digital Financial Economy Festival (FEKDI 2023) in Jakarta, Wednesday.
4. The Chair of ASEAN-BAC is optimistic that ASEAN will become the center of the world economy in 2045
Chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Arsjad Rasjid in Labuan Bajo, NTT, Wednesday, is optimistic that ASEAN will become the center of stability and the world economy in 2045.
He conveyed that the process in that direction would be outlined in a roadmap for realizing ASEAN as a growth center that innovates towards greater inclusivity, such as strengthening centrality, leveraging innovative solutions, and advocating inclusivity for increasing regional resilience.
5. BSI is continuously trying to restore service
PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) apologizes for the difficulties experienced by customers in accessing BSI services, while at the same time emphasizing its commitment to maintaining the security of customers’ funds and data.
BSI President Director Hery Gunardi said that his party continues to carry out the normalization process with the main focus on keeping customer funds and data safe, and so far the service normalization process has been carried out properly.
