Two Days Crash, Antam’s Gold Price So This

Jakarta, Armfalcon.com– Antam’s gold price on Monday trading (8/5/23) was stagnant after collapsing on Friday and Saturday last week. At the LM Graha Dipta Pulo Gadung gold boutique, the price for 1-gram Antam gold costs Rp. 1,059,000 per stick. The price has not moved compared to yesterday.

Antam’s gold price today is the lowest since Tuesday (2/5/2023). On Friday and Saturday last week, the price of gold fell to Rp 18,000 per gram. Gold then stabilized on Sunday and Monday at Rp 1,059,000 per gram

Meanwhile, the repurchase price or buyback Antam’s gold also remained motionless at IDR 953 thousand per gram.

The weakening of Antam’s gold price is in line with world gold.

The price of gold on the spot market at the beginning of the week’s trading, Monday (8/5/2023) at 05:55 WIB was observed to have slightly weakened 0.08% to US$ 2,014.79 per troy ounce.

This morning’s movement extended the negative trend for gold which also fell 1.7% on Friday last week. Gold fell as the non-farm payrolls data turned out to be higher than market expectations.

The number of additional workers in non-farm payrolls reached 253,000 in April 2023 while market expectations were only 180,000.

The price of gold is expected to be unstable this week because of the many data releases from the United States (US), ranging from inflation to the producer price index (IPP).
