The BLBI Task Force confiscated collateral from PT Samaeri Mitracipta Nias

Jakarta (Armfalcon.com) – The Task Force for Handling State Claims on Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Fund (BLBI Task Force) through the Committee for State Receivables Affairs (PUPN) Branch of North Sumatra confiscated some of the collateral of PT Samaeri Mitracipta Nias.

In an official statement received in Jakarta, Friday, BLBI Task Force Chair Rionald Silaban said the collateral consisted of four plots of land including the building on it with a total area of ​​62,140 m2 which are located in Botohili Sorake Village, South Nias Regency, North Sumatra.

The four plots of land are collateral items confiscated in an effort to settle PT Samaeri Mitracipta Nias’ obligations to the state which have not been fulfilled to date, amounting to Rp.49.23 billion, including the administration fee for managing state receivables of 10 percent.

The confiscation was carried out by the BLBI Task Force through the Bailiff of the Padangsidempuan State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL), which was attended by Swastiko Purnomo and the BLBI Task Force team, Raden Hariyadi Murti Kurniawan as the Head of the Padangsidempuan KPKNL, Kombes Yohanes Richard Adrians, Kompol Kalfaris Triwijaya Lalo, and the team from the BLBI Bareskrim Polri Task Force.

In addition, the event was also attended by the Head of Ops for the South Nias Police, Kompol Meritaken Surbakti and staff, the Teluk Dalam Police Chief AKP Dedi Yansah Ginting, Movian Edrial Riza as the Head of the South Nias District Land Office, and local government officials.

Rionald added, PT Samaeri Mitracipta Nias collateral items which had been confiscated would continue the processing by PUPN through the mechanism as stipulated in the applicable regulations.

The BLBI Task Force will consistently make ongoing efforts to ensure that the state’s collection rights can be fulfilled, through a series of efforts such as blocking, confiscating, and selling collateral assets or other assets owned by obligors or debtors who have received facilities so far. BLBI funds and have not or have not completed their obligations to the state as they should.
