The six AP II airports designated by the government as pilgrimage embarkations include Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang), Kualanamu Airport (Deli Serdang), and Kertajati Airport (Majalengka), Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport (Aceh), Minangkabau Airport (Padang) and Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang).

Executive General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Dwi Ananda Wicaksana said the departure of the first Hajj flight at Soekarno-Hatta Airport was scheduled for May 24 2023 at 00.30 WIB. “The departure of the 2023 inaugural Hajj flight at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is scheduled for May 24, 2023 at 00.30 WIB by Garuda Indonesia flight number GA 7301 carrying 388 pilgrims,” ​​said Dwi.

Executive General Manager of Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport Darmadi said the departure of this year’s first Hajj flight at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport is also scheduled for May 24 2023 at 07.45 WIB. There were 388 pilgrims who departed from there.

“The first Hajj flight for 2023 will be operated by Garuda Indonesia flight number GA 2101,” said Darmadi.

Meanwhile, Kualanamu Airport has also scheduled its inaugural flight on May 24, 2023 at 07.25 WIB. The flight was operated by Garuda Indonesia flight number GA 3101 and carried 355 pilgrims.

Executive General Manager of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport R. Iwan Winaya Mahdar said the inaugural departure of the 2023 Hajj flight at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport would take place on May 27 2023 at 09.55 WIB. The airline is Saudi Arabia flight number SV 5581 carrying 355 pilgrims.

The first Hajj flight for 2023 at Kertajati Airport (Majalengka) will be conducted on May 28, 2023. This is the first time that Kertajati Airport has served Hajj flights.

“The departure of the first flight on May 28, 2023 was operated by Saudi Arabian airline with flight number SV 5025 at 21.05 WIB carrying 369 pilgrims,” ​​said Executive General Manager of Kertajati Airport Nuril Huda.

For Minangkabau Airport, the congregation will be flown on June 5, 2023.
