Kendari (Armfalcon.com) – The Southeast Sulawesi Directorate General of Treasury Regional Office said the realization of state spending in the province reached IDR 4.92 trillion or 19.2 percent as of March 31, 2023.

Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury for Southeast Sulawesi, Syarwan in Kendari, said Tuesday that the realization of state spending includes central government spending and Transfers to Regions and Village Funds (TKDD).

“The realization of state spending in the Southeast Sulawesi region as of March 31, 2023 has reached IDR 4,922.45 billion or 19.2 percent of the APBN ceiling,” he said while holding a press conference.

He explained that the realization of central government spending as of March 31, 2023 amounted to IDR 1,360.74 billion or 17.33 percent of the 2023 budget ceiling, which consisted of personnel spending of IDR 494.17 billion (19.58 percent of the APBN ceiling), spending on goods of IDR 509.91 billion (17.03 percent of the ceiling).

Furthermore, capital spending is IDR 353.44 billion (15.22 percent of the APBN ceiling) and social assistance spending is IDR 3.22 billion (36.01 percent).

“The Southeast Sulawesi DJPb Regional Office has taken strategic steps in the framework of accelerating the realization of spending and achieving output for work units through letter Number S-403/WPB.28/2023 dated 14 March 2023 concerning Monitoring the Implementation of Work Unit Budgets until February 2023,” he said.

He admitted that his party was actively coordinating with the KPPN to encourage work units to immediately carry out accelerated spending in the next period, especially for goods and capital expenditures.

“Meanwhile, the TKDD distribution as of March 31, 2023 reached IDR 3,561.71 billion (20.03 percent),” he added.

DJPb stated that transfer spending to the regions of the Southeast Sulawesi region had decreased compared to the realization in 2022 due to a decrease in DAU payments until March 31, 2023 compared to DAU in 2022 by 10.83 percent from IDR 2,701.9 billion to IDR 2,409.38 billion in 2023.

Meanwhile, the realization of revenue-sharing funds (DBH) until March 31, 2023 amounted to IDR 462.79 billion, an increase of 202.97 percent compared to the realization in 2022 which amounted to IDR 152 billion.

The Regional Office of DGTb of Southeast Sulawesi Province has endeavored to encourage the Southeast Sulawesi local government to accelerate the distribution of Village Funds for the first quarter of 2023 through letter number S-434/WPB.28/2023 dated 27 March 2023 regarding the acceleration of the distribution of Village Funds Phase I 2023
