Jakarta, Armfalcon.com – The price of gold bullion at Pegadaian was observed to fall during trading on Wednesday (22/3/2023). The decline in the price of gold at Pegadaian occurred when the world gold price on weekend trading Tuesday (21/3/2023) experienced a correction of 1.94% at US$ 1,940. 15 per troy ounce.
However, this gold position is still at its highest level since February 2, 2023. The surge in gold prices occurred when ongoing banking crisis. The bank crash in the United States raised high expectations, the Federal Reserve halting its tightening cycle.
Currently market participants are also digesting the impact of US regulators rushing to stem the sudden failure of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank. The gold market has received the request safe haven from the poor state of US banking. However, prices have been boosted by expectations of a hike in the US central bank’s interest rates.
Pegadaian itself sells various types of gold, namely Antam gold, Antam Retro, Antam Batik, and UBS. Various sizes are sold, ranging from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.
Launching data from Pegadaian’s official website today, the price of 1 gram of Antam’s gold at a price tag of IDR 1,127,000 was observed to have increased by 4.74% from the previous day. To note, Antam’s gold is available from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams. Everything was observed to have decreased in the range of 0.32-0.39%.

To note, Antam Retro gold is old packaged gold where the gold coins and the certificate are separate. Antam Retro Gold was last produced in 2018.
