Jakarta (Armfalcon.com) – Deputy Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Mirza Adityaswara said that he had realized a budget of IDR 1.95 trillion during the first quarter of 2023 or reached 26.2 percent of the 2023 budget ceiling of IDR 7.5 trillion.
“As stipulated in the OJK Law, the types of OJK spending are divided into 4 types, namely operational, administrative, asset procurement and other supporting activities,” he said in a joint meeting with Commission XI DPR RI, Tuesday.
He detailed that as much as IDR 96.57 billion had been realized for operational activities or 13.07 percent of the ceiling of IDR 739.06 billion, IDR 1.77 trillion for administrative activities or 29.4 percent of the ceiling of IDR 6.03 trillion, and IDR 79.97 billion for procurement of assets or 11.75 percent of the ceiling of IDR 680.33 billion.
Meanwhile IDR 372.16 billion or 34.51 percent of the ceiling of IDR 1.07 trillion has been used for OJK activities in the banking sector, IDR 167.20 billion or 30.7 percent of the ceiling of IDR 544.50 billion for the capital market, and IDR 203. 30 billion or Ro530.23 billion for the Non-Bank Financial Industry (IKNB).
Furthermore, IDR 68.70 billion or 26.13 percent of the 2023 ceiling has been used until the end of March 2023 for programs in the fields of consumer education and protection and IDR 35.88 billion or 27.20 percent for auditing, risk management and quality control activities.
A total of 34 Financial Services Authority Regulations derived from the Law on Strengthening and Development of the Financial Sector (UU P2SK) will be completed this year.
The P2SK Law mandates the establishment of a POJK in 224 articles and a Board of Commissioners Regulation (PDK) in 3 articles.
As many as 7 POJKs that will be prioritized for completion this year need to be consulted with the DPR, including POJK carbon stocks and POJK spin off sharia business units for banking, insurance and finance companies.
