Long Holiday, Pawnshop Gold Price Again Discount!

Jakarta, Armfalcon.com – The price of gold bullion at Pegadaian was observed to vary, some fell and some remained stagnant during trading on Saturday (29/4/2023) amid an increase in world gold prices which rose at closing weekend trading.

The world gold price in trading on Friday (28/4/2023) ended slightly up 0.09% to US$ 1,989.65 per troy ounce. Gold’s rise was triggered by falling yields and renewed concerns over US banking turmoil.

The Federal Reserve issued a detailed, scathing assessment of its failure to identify problems and push for improvements at Silicon Valley Bank before the lender collapsed, promising tighter oversight and more detailed rules.

With the increase in world gold prices, domestic gold prices also followed suit. One of them is Pawnshop gold. Pegadaian itself sells various types of gold, namely Antam gold, Antam Retro, Antam Batik, and UBS. Various sizes are sold, ranging from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.

According to data from Pegadaian’s official website today, the price of 1 gram of Antam’s gold priced at IDR 1,104,000 has not changed from the previous day. To note, Antam’s gold is available from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.

Meanwhile, 1 gram of Antam Retro gold costs IDR 1,053,000. The price decreased by 1.59% compared to the previous day. Meanwhile, 100 grams is priced at IDR 101,422,000 or a decrease of 1.51% from the previous day. The decline in this type of pawn shop gold ranges from 1.51% -1.59%

To note, Antam Retro gold is old packaged gold where the gold coins and the certificate are separate. Antam Retro Gold was last produced in 2018.

Pegadaian also offers Antam Batik gold, which is the most expensive type of Antam gold. In today’s trading the price of this type of gold is not available.

Finally, the price of UBS gold issued by PT Untung Bersama Sejahtera is IDR 1,048,000 per gram, the price has decreased by 1.5% from the previous day. In today’s trading, the price of this type of gold fell between 1.5% -1.58%.

To note, the available UBS gold is complete, ranging in size from 0.5 grams to 500 grams.
