KAI distributes cheap train tickets for post-Eid travelers

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta sells train ticket remote fire (KAJJ) with price cheap for people who are leaving youngk after Lebaran until 3 May 2023. Cheap fares will be given for all long-distance train departures.

This low rate applies to economy class to executive class with the lowest fares for Economy class starting from IDR 150,000, Executive IDR 330,000 and Business IDR 280,000.

Head of Public Relations of KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Eva Chairunisa said the number of KAJJ seats available to various destinations for departures from the Jakarta area for April 27 to May 3 is now around 173 thousand seats left.

As of today, the occupancy rate for passengers departing from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen is still quite high, namely 70 percent of the total available seats.

In detail, there were around 19,000 passengers departing from Pasar Senen Station, with 32 train services operating today, while for Gambir Station the volume of departing passengers reached around 11,000, with 38 train services operating.

In total, for the departure schedule from 12 to 26 April or on H-10 to H + 3 Eid, around 550 thousand train users departed using long-distance trains from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen in the Daop 1 area of ​​Jakarta at the moment of Eid.

The peak of the homecoming flow with seat occupancy reaching 100 percent occurred on April 18 to 22.

Meanwhile, based on data as of April 26, around 660 thousand tickets for the departure of the Lebaran transport period from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen have been sold. Of these, the majority of orders were made for scheduled departures on favorite dates, namely April 14 to 24.

Based on data on tickets sold on these dates, the occupancy rate for passenger volume has reached 90-100 percent, with the highest departing passenger volume recorded on April 18 to 23, with an occupancy rate or seat occupancy on those dates reaching 100 percent.

As for a number of destination cities which are favorite choices including Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Purwokerto, Kutoarjo, Semarang, Tegal, Solo and Bandung.
