Interact to overcome the surge in payment transactions during Eid 2023

Debit and QRIS transactions jumped significantly with an increase of around 20 percent for debit transactions and more than 700 percent for QRIS transactions

Jakarta (Armfalcon.com) – PT Jalin Payments Nusantara (Jalin) has overcome the surge in payment transaction services at ATMs, debits, digital bankingas well as QRIS during the Ramadhan and Eid al-Fitr 2023 periods due to the high number of people moving back and forth.

“The surge in QRIS transactions is a momentum to forge ahead with the partners members and candidate members to continue to encourage more massive use of QRIS in the community,” said Jalin Main Director Ario Tejo Bayu Aji in a written statement received in Jakarta, Friday.

Ario said the total number of transactions from 1 Ramadhan or 23 March 2023 to 1 Shawwal 1444 H on 22 April 2023 had increased by more than 51 percent compared to 2002.

During this period, debit and QRIS transactions jumped significantly with an increase of around 20 percent for debit transactions and more than 700 percent for QRIS transactions.

Jalin ensures that the quality of financial services operates optimally, normally and stably for banking and non-banking customers during the 2023 Ramadan and Idul Fitri periods.

Aspect operational excellence became the main focus of the company in serving all customers and travelers during this period, in particular to maximize service to customers and minimize operational obstacles and disruptions.
