Heru Budi Ensures Safe Beef and Chicken Stocks Ahead of Eid

Acting (Pj) Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono confirmed the stock food Beef, chicken and fish are safe ahead of Eid 2023.

This was conveyed by Heru while reviewing the readiness of meat stocks at the Perumda Dharma Jaya Cakung Animal Slaughterhouse (RPH) in Cakung, East Jakarta, Tuesday (18/4).

“Today, I came to ensure the readiness of Perumda Dharma Jaya in providing stock of beef, chicken and fish for the needs of Eid,” said Heru.

Heru was also accompanied by the DKI Jakarta Regional Secretary’s Assistant for Economics and Finance Sri Haryati and the Head of the DKI Jakarta Food Security, Maritime Affairs and Agriculture Agency, Suharini Eliawati.

During the visit, Heru visited a number of points, from the stables to the slaughterhouse.

Heru reiterated that the stocks that had been prepared were considered sufficient to meet the needs of Jakartans in preparation for the Idul Fitri 1444 Hijriah or 2023.

On the same occasion, the Main Director of Perumda Dharma Jaya, Raditya Endra Budiman, said that beef, chicken and fish stocks were available. Apart from that, Raditya also guaranteed that there would be no price increase.

“The stock for beef is 500 tons, for chicken meat is approximately the same 500 tons, and for fish 350 tons,” said Raditya.

“As for the meat distributed by Dharma Jaya, God willing, I guarantee that there will be no increase,” he continued.
