GPN Competes with Visa & Mastercard, Is Credit Card Issuer Ready?

Jakarta, Armfalcon.com- Executive Director of the Indonesian Credit Card Association (AKKI), Steve Marta noted an increase in credit card transactions to pre-pandemic with the majority dominated by Visa and Mastercard principals while debit transactions have been carried out by the National Payment Gateway system (GPN).

Regarding the plan to issue a Government Credit Card (KKP), credit card issuers hope that the government’s policy will not interfere with the activities of credit card customers in making transactions, both at home and abroad.
