Pegadaian itself sells various types of gold, namely Antam gold, Antam Retro, Antam Batik, and UBS. Various sizes are sold, ranging from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.
In today’s trading, the price of 1 gram of Antam’s gold is still priced at IDR 1,126,000, up 1% compared to yesterday. This gold is available from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.

The increase in Pegadaian’s gold price could not be separated from the influence of world gold which reached its highest price in a year.
At the close of trading on Wednesday (5/4/2023), gold closed at US$ 2,020.35 per troy ounce. The price of the precious metal edged up 0.02%.
The increase in gold yesterday and today is a positive impact from the continued sloping US employment data.
Labor data released on Wednesday evening Indonesian time showed that the additional new workers or job creation in the private sector in the US only added 145,000 in March 2023.
This number decreased from 261,000 in February 2003 and was far below market expectations of around 210,000.
The data came out just a day after the job opening report (JOLTS) in February 2023 showed only 9.93 million new jobs were open.
This number fell by 632,000 compared to January 2023.
This is the first time the number of new jobs has only been recorded at 10 million in the last two years. The number of new jobs is also far below market expectations of 10.4 million.
The drop in new jobs in the US is of course good news for gold.
