Jakarta, Armfalcon.com – The price of gold bullion at PT Pegadaian tends to fall in today’s trading, Wednesday (3/5/2023) when world gold prices fly to as low as US$2,000 per troy ounce.
Quoting data Refinitiv, at the close of trading Tuesday (2/5/2023), gold closed at US$2,016.28 per troy ounce. The price of the precious metal soared 1.73%.
Yesterday’s surge in gold prices could not be separated from the turmoil currently being faced by the US.
There are at least three critical matters currently facing the US economy, namely the banking crisis, the government debt crisis, and the US central bank’s decision by The Federal Reserve (The Fed).
The increase in world gold prices has the potential to strengthen Pegadaian’s gold price in the near future because the world gold price is a reference for gold sold by Pegadaian.
Pegadaian itself sells various types of gold, namely Antam gold, Antam Retro, Antam Batik, and UBS. Various sizes are sold, ranging from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.
In today’s trading, the price of 1 gram of Antam’s gold is priced at IDR 1,095,000, down IDR 3,000 compared to yesterday.
RAntam’s gold average fell 0.3% from its previous position. This gold is available from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.
Meanwhile, Antam Retro gold costs Rp. 1,046,000 for 1 gram, down Rp. 10,000 from yesterday’s price or 0.96% from yesterday’s position.
Antam Retro Gold is old packaged gold where the gold coins and the certificate are separate. Antam Retro Gold was last produced in 2018, and is available from 0.5 grams to 100 grams.
Finally, the price of UBS gold issued by PT Untung Bersama Sejahtera costs IDR 1,044,000 per gram, down IDR 7,000 or 0.67% from yesterday’s price. The available UBS gold is complete, ranging in size from 0.5 grams to 1,000 grams.
