Economist: Ganjar Becoming a Presidential Candidate, Strengthening Rupiah Exchange Rate

For tomorrow’s trading, it is estimated that the rupiah currency will open fluctuating. It’s just that it might close higher in the range of IDR 14,670 per US dollar to IDR 14,740 per US dollar.

Director of PT Profit Forexindo Berjangka Ibrahim Asjuangbi said, the euphoria from the influence of Ganjar Pranowo being appointed as the 2024 presidential candidate from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI) can still be felt to this day. This is evidenced by the dominance of the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar.
