Jakarta (Armfalcon.com) – Organizer crowdfunding securities (SCF) PT Dana Aguna Nusantara or Danamart has prepared funds of up to IDR 10 billion for funding Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) after obtaining official permission from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
“Difficulty in obtaining capital is the main challenge for SMEs to upgrade their business in Indonesia to develop their business,” said Danamart Founder and CEO Patrick Gunadi in a statement in Jakarta, Friday.
Patrick explained that financial institutions usually have difficulty meeting a number of requirements in the capital market when they want to sell company shares or debt securities, especially those related to the nominal initial public offering or Initial Public Offering (IPOs).
In that context, securities offering providers through crowdfunding services such as Danamart can play a role in making the offering nominal more affordable for SMEs.
To date, Danamart has assisted SMEs in business capital through debt-based securities offering facilities. However, Patrick said this did not rule out the possibility for issuers of equity or share-based securities to obtain additional capital on the Danamart platform.
In addition, Danamart financing applies the principles of sustainability to the environment and society or ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). The ESG principle is the benchmark for assessing risk management for SMEs before they can issue securities at Danamart.
Overall, the process of raising capital and financing at Danamart is carried out online with reduced terms related to guarantees, asset values, and access to registered capital at KSEI (Indonesian Central Securities Depository).
In this way, Danamart as a service crowdfunding securities take part in encouraging equal distribution of business progress in Indonesia by providing easy access to capital for SMEs, including those operating far from the reach of financial service centers.
It is known that the Danamart business license from the OJK is contained in the Business License Decision Number KEP-15/D.04/2023 dated 15 February 2023.
