BSI strengthens innovation and strategy to accelerate digital transactions

Jakarta ( – PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) is strengthening innovation and strategies to accelerate the acceleration of digital transactions.

“The development of digital service innovation is one of BSI’s focuses this year. Not only for business development, but through BSI Mobile we hope to bring the community closer through the convenience of reaching BSI anywhere and anytime,” said BSI Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) Digital Banking Saut Parulian Saragih in a statement in Jakarta, Wednesday.

Saut said that the public’s interest in using BSI Mobile continues to increase. Currently, the number of BSI Mobile users has reached 5.18 million users, an increase of 37 percent on an annual basis (year-on-year/ yoy).

That number continues to increase in line with the increasing public preference for the sharia lifestyle. This is reflected in the achievement of commission-based income or fee-based income obtained through BSI Mobile reached IDR 64 billion from January to March 2023, growing five percent yoy.

BSI also targets the millennial generation to open BSI accounts online and for other transactions.

In addition, BSI also seeks to appreciate customers who have trusted in BSI, one of which is by holding the BSI Mobile Fortune Rain Program.

This year, BSI has prepared a series of prizes, including one Mini Cooper Countryman, 2 Vespa LX, 5 Vespa Sprint S, 10 iPhone 13, 20 Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, and 263 Gold Savings Balances. These prizes are expected to be of benefit to support community activities and transactions.
