BLBI Task Force Summons Tommy Soeharto to Collect Debt of Rp. 2.37 T

Task Force for Handling State Billing Rights Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Fund (BLBI Task Force) returns calling Tommy Suharto as management of PT Timor Putra Nasional (TPN) in connection with the settlement of debts to the state worth IDR 2.37 trillion.

Apart from Tommy, the BLBI Task Force also summoned Ronny Hendrarto Ronowicaksono who is also a TPN administrator.

The summons was contained in a letter numbered PENG-89/KSB/2023 which was issued on March 30 2023 and signed by the Head of the BLBI Task Force Rionald Silaban.

In the letter Tommy Soeharto was summoned as Commissioner of PT TPN, while Ronny as Director.

The summons was addressed to Tommy Suharto’s residence on Jl. Cendana, Menteng Village, Gondangdia District, Central Jakarta and Ronny in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta.

The two were asked to appear before the BLBI Task Force on April 17, 2023 at the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) office of the Ministry of Finance.

“Considering the importance of this meeting, I urge you to attend in person. In the event that you do not fulfill your obligation to enforce State collection rights, action will be taken as stipulated in the laws and regulations,” wrote the announcement, Wednesday (12/4).

Summoning Tommy Suharto and his colleagues is the umpteenth time. The summons was made regarding the nominal debt of the company’s subsidiary, President Soeharto, which reached Rp 2.61 trillion.

The BLBI Task Force has actually confiscated collateral assets in the form of PT TPN’s factory land located in Karawang, West Java. Unfortunately, the asset never sold even though it had been auctioned many times.

Not only Tommy and Ronny, the BLBI Task Force also summoned a debt guarantor from PT Oerip Mangkudijaya worth IDR 31.04 billion and US$ 720,768.

He is Heir of Sumyaryo Mangkudijaya Sumiskum (Main Director), Puspahadi Boenjamin (Director), Prasetiono Sumiskum (Director), Heir of Roy Joeli Soeharjanto (Director), and Lubna Sumyaryo (Commissioner).

Then the debt guarantor from PT Eraska Nofa was also summoned to settle debts to the state worth IDR 16.66 billion and US $ 7,843. It is recorded that the names of the management are HY Tugiyono Makmoer as the Main Director and Chandra Sariningasih as the Director.
