Antam Contributes IDR 2.82 Trillion in Taxes and PNBP in 2022

Armfalcon.com, JAKARTA — PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) as a member of BUMN Mining Industry Holding MIND ID contributes to the country in the form of paying taxes and fulfilling Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) of IDR 2.82 in 2022.

Antam’s Corporate Secretary, Syarif Faisal Alkadrie said, the company always tries to carry out operations in accordance good mining practices and increasing contribution to the country every year. This is a form of corporate responsibility that has been entrusted with managing Indonesia’s strategic mineral reserves.

“We are always committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations regarding taxes and PNBP. In 2022, with the support of positive performance, companies are able to increase contributions to the state from the results of these taxes and PNBP by 15 percent compared to 2021 of IDR 2, 44 trillion,” said Faisal in Jakarta, Thursday (11/5/2023).

For Antam’s compliance in fulfilling tax obligations, in February 2022, the company won an award from the Tax Service Office (KPP) as ‘Taxpayer with the Largest Revenue Contribution in 2022’ and ‘Holding and Subholding Taxpayer Compliance Supporting Business Group in 2022’.

“This appreciation is one form of Antam’s presence in supporting Indonesia’s economic growth through contributions to state revenues. This is also a motivation for the company to continue to improve performance so that it can provide maximum contribution to the country and society,” he said.

Faisal said, Antam will continue to strive to be a trustworthy taxpayer to maintain compliance, both with the obligation to pay taxes and PNBP. “We hope that Antam’s continued efforts will also inspire other parties to become taxpayers who make a good contribution to the country,” said Faisal.
