Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta) will depart 70,356 passengers on D-5 ahead Eid Al-Fitr 1444 Hijri/2023.
Senior Manager of Branch Communication and Legal at Soekarno-Hatta Airport M Holik Muwardi said the plan was for 70,356 passengers to depart and 58,639 passengers to arrive on April 17, 2023.
“So, a total of 128,995 passengers,” said Holik, quoting Antara, Monday (17/4).
In detail, he said there were 24,972 passengers with 191 flights traveling through Terminal 1 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
Then, there were 51,028 passengers with 383 flights at Terminal 2 and 52,995 with 406 flights at Terminal 3.
Apart from passenger flights, Soekarno-Hatta Airport also dispatched 15 cargo planes. Thus, the flight plan on April 17 2023 recorded a total of 995 aircraft.
Based on data from the Integrated 2023 Eid Transportation Post at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, as of 12.20 WIB, the number of flights recorded was 296 consisting of 181 departing aircraft and 115 arriving aircraft. This number includes 255 domestic flights and 41 international flights.
The most flights occurred at 09.00 to 10.00 am with a total of 55.
In detail, there were 30 recorded departure flights and 15 flights arriving at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
The average number of flights per hour is 12 aircraft.
The airport predicts that the peak of traffic flow at Soekarno-Hatta Airport during the 2023 Eid homecoming period will occur one day before Eid al-Fitr with the number of passengers reaching 172 thousand people with 1,200 flights.
Overall, Soekarno-Hatta Airport estimates that there will be an increase in the number of passengers by 20 percent and traffic by 10 percent to 15 percent during the 2023 Eid Transportation period when compared to the 2022 Eid period.

Meanwhile, AP II VP of Corporate Communications Cin Asmoro said that referring to Angleb Monitoring Post data, the cumulative number of passengers at AP II’s 20 airports was recorded at 810,431 people during the period April 12 2023 to April 15 2023 (D-10 to D-7) .
That number is up 26 percent compared to the same period in Angleb 2022 of 641,750 people. For aircraft movements, 6,513 flights were recorded, up 16 percent from the previous 5,598 flights.
As for the number of passengers on Angleb 2023 (D-10 to D-7) of 810,431 people, this has reached 92 percent of Angleb 2019 (D-10 to D-7), namely 880,379 people.
“So far, the recovery rate on Angleb 2023 is already 92 percent from 2019 when there was no pandemic. We are optimistic that the recovery rate will continue to increase,” said Cin Asmoro
